It's only when - in the middle of that action - she accidentally manages to latch onto his hand with her own, leaving them holding hands rather awkwardly since the realisation that she's holding his hand makes Illya freeze in the middle of her panic.
But after standing there like that, seemingly frozen, a moment or two passing.. ]
