[It probably would be better to have a second experienced dreamer with them, but everyone is so busy trying to keep things stabilized and such and busy enough with their own excursions... and well, maybe a lot of the other older dreamers didn't want to babysit two fresh novices who apparently cannot be pried apart for love or money. It's fine, surely.]

Is it just me or does the air seem... better, than usual?

[Granted, the last time Cerulean found this place he immediately Hit The Bricks, but still. He conjures up a little breeze and blows it past his own face, and that of his teammates in order to clear up the air a little more, and squints up at the volcano looming above them.]

[Wow! Cerulean immediately dislikes this! Sure it could mean that the danger rating has temporarily gone down here, that's apparently a thing that's happening, but he has too much experience with video games and movies to trust it. The other shoe is definitely poised to drop.]

Maybe that means it's saving up for a big show soon.

[He hops from jagged stone to stone to get a better look at a lava pool nearby that seems to be slowly cooling into stone. He at least looks like he's gotten more comfortable moving within the Dreamsphere since the last time Ford saw him.]

Now all we need is for one of you to say "I've got a bad feeling about this" and then we'll be good to go.

[ She says it flippantly enough, but then she adjusts her grip on her rifle – not quite arming herself with it yet but ready to spring into action the moment it looks like she might have to.

As she does, she calls up to Cerulean. ]

Personally I'm more of a fan of 'what could possibly go wrong.' It really invites the universe to answer you.

[He does note that Cerulean seems a lot less awkward on his feet, which is good to see. If you're going to be running around in a dreamscape you ought to be able to take advantage of it being a dreamscape. If ignoring the laws of physics is on the table and all it takes is convincing your brain that it's possible, he can't imagine a scenario in which it wouldn't be a good idea to immediately start practicing.]

[Old man, are you fucking serious. A quick glance says that he is. Well, Cerulean knew what he was getting into.]

Lava, but it isn't super active. Looks like it's cooling, actually. More rocks.

[He jumps to another outcropping, which immediately starts to crumble under him.]

Woah- shit-

[He does an embarrassing little hop, and summons another windy boi breeze in the process, which doesn't really do much, but he does manage to hop away and not eat shit, so there's that.]

So this place has calmed down, for whatever reason.

[ Or at least, it's calmed enough that they're not going to get flash fried while trying to stabilize it again. Glasswing can't exactly say she misses the Vale if it does turn out to be gone forever, but the prospect of all these changes and their ramifications they might have on people on the other side... it leaves her feeling more than a little uneasy. ]

Has this ever happened before? [ That's directed at Icarus – if anyone would know, it'd be him. ] At Fury Peak or anywhere else.
