Foreigners in Japan are often surprised at the relative lack of vegetarian options, at least compared to Europe and the USA... even though meat-eating was officially banned in Japan for centuries. There's fish broth in everything, even tofu dishes. Luckily, it's not too hard to find vegetarian products in Yumemigaoka, but Shinsha grew up in a small town where there were no meatless meat buns or dairy-free ice creams.

Shinsha grabs a slice of the vegan pizza... and then another slice. They certainly can't let Sam's hard work go to waste.

"It looks delicious... you'll have to share the recipe. I live alone now, so I end up cooking the same meals almost every week. I should try new things..."
