[Ideally, cool-anime-ninja-Ango would dodge the Hakujoudai with a sick 360° backflip and land on his feet, but 40-year-old-novelist-Ango just barely manages to flop to the ground and roll away, landing flat on his ass. Yikes, and now he's gotta dodge falling stars, too? Using his nail bat as a shield, he scuttles back from meteor strikes until he's able to regain his footing. Not his most graceful move, but hopefully Ai didn't see that. She's probably a little preoccupied right now.
Ango recognizes the spotlights as the start of one of her attacks, though. If Hanako is caught in it, he temporarily won't be able to target anyone other than Ai... which should leave him wide open! With a flick of his wrist, Ango tosses his other knife and transforms it into one of his shadow clones in midair, letting the momentum send a copy of himself barreling towards Hanako fist-first.
Meanwhile, the real Ango hangs back near Crow and Sage just in case one of the novices needs a healing potion. He can probably make one that's not vodka flavored... probably.]
