Proper sewing or...hell, I don't know what it's called, but there's a fabric way to make things stiffer. I mean you could probably use spray starch in a pinch, too, but normally I don't cosplay, so don't quote me on that, okay?
If not I'll just figure out how to keep it poised with duct tape and safety pins.
