I mean... we're here. We could always keep them away from the fire and make sure they're safe. [Although rescuing folks from something that they were responsible for was... sure a thing, wasn't it--] But we can't exactly do that if the tree's making projections about something they might not even know is real.

After all, just because we want something doesn't mean we necessarily want to see it, right? Feelings are complicated like that.
