[He barely registers Junna snatching back her glasses from his hands, the sight ahead of them leaving him dumbstruck and numb. The boy in the vision is identical to the one they fought in his Disturbance-- color swapped version of Dreamer Hanako and all-- but there's nothing sinister in the bright smile he flashes towards the double of Amane in front of them. To anyone else, they just look like a pair of twin brothers eager to go on another new and exciting adventure together, scampering along the submerged tracks of the city in hopes of uncovering yet another unexplored location. There's no reason for Hanako to look so unnerved by such an innocent mirage, but yet here he is, eyes wide and pained as if somebody had went and socked him in the mouth. Perhaps he should have expected this, especially after last year, but...
Junna's voice snaps him out of his pained haze, and he glances over towards her, his large eyes in that brief moment unguarded and fragile. The look on his face is eerily reminiscent to how they had found him on the rooftop of his Disturbance, the veneer of his carefree mask peeling away to something more vulnerable and hurt. He could flee again-- that's what he had done when Ai had seen it last year, and she arguably had a better perspective on what she had been seeing than Junna did. But... was that really the right call? After all she had been through to rescue him, from all his built up doubts and insecurities... she was owed at least some sort of explanation, right?
His shoulders slump as his eyes travel back to the mirage in front of them, his expression sobering back up as he takes in the innocuous scene ahead.]
... yeah.
It's dumb, right? You'd think I would have gotten over something like this by now, but...
[Obviously not, if the vision playing out in the distance was any indication. At the end of the day, he was still just a kid who wanted to go on adventures with his twin brother-- even if that dream had been shattered to pieces long ago.]
