[Sonic flicks his wrist as he walks past the suspended Ring, causing it to shrink and disappear once again. He doesn't like having his weapon out when he doesn't need to use it. Handy as it is, throwing it at enemies never wound up working very well: that's something he learned early on in his Dreamer career too. But this is his first Disturbance and he doesn't quite realize the impact of what's to be found in here yet. Which is why he walks over to the desk with only a sense of curiosity... Until he gets a proper look at it.
There's a quiet moment where he contemplates it before speaking again;]
So what came first, you think? This- [he taps the broken glass in the frame] -or that? [and he points down to the damaged desk itself]
