[Perhaps it wasn't the wisest move, to be the first to fire when they were trying to deescalate the situation, but it was clear there was no convincing the Professor at this point. Hell, he seemed thrilled about how this was starting to affect the waking world, which wasn't exactly a promising sign of somebody who could be reasoned with. Still, all Hanako had wanted to do was ruffle some feathers, tip his hand a little-- not the increasingly concerning chain of events that now proceeded to play out in front of them.

With a wave of his hand, he redirects his Hakujoudai towards the rain of crystals, hoping to help Tycoon in thinning down the hail a bit further to protect the girls. He switches on his Intangibility, quickly weaving through the shards hurtling through him, before holding a hand out to whomever may be closest.]
