[Amane bites off a curse the moment he sees the Professor bat away the mug like a stray fly, hearing it shatter into pieces not too far behind him. Welp-- RIP to whomever that drinkware belonged to, I guess!! His eyes dart to the desk again-- maybe he can grab the phone next, that might be easy to chuck-- when Keiwa goes and blocks his line of view, prompting an indignant scowl in response. The look only deepens as the other man admonishes him, and he volleys back:]
What?! I don't see anyone else trying to stop him!
[... well, like. They were actually trying to be reasonable adults and talk him down without escalating into further conflict, but!! Clearly that wasn't working out in their favor!! As if throwing a mug was any better, Amane???
But then he hears the taller girl speak up, and-- wait. She wasn't the little pink one, was she...? Talk about differing identities between the realities! Although he didn't exactly have any room to speak on that end...
He swallows as she brings up a very good point, however-- what in the world were they going to do about him now? They couldn't fight him as they were, so... was this going to become a national incident? Were they going to have to get the military involved? Oh look, Jeannette can finally get her chance to lead an army-- But that's nothing compared to what the Professor says next, as he feels a clammy dread creep down his back.
"Become whatever you want to be, all the time"...
A year ago, he would have leapt at such an offer-- hell, even now, there's something about it that pulls to him, coaxing him to accept Turo's grand plans, but...
... no. Staying trapped in the bubble of one's dreams wasn't a way to live at all.]
You think everyone's going to use that power responsibly? We already got you running amok, after all.
[And one whack-job with delusions of grandeur was bad enough!! Something in his face shifts as he, too, thinks of Shinsha, thinks of their unwelcome and overwhelming power, before adding:]
... besides. Sometimes dreams are more painful than reality. Not all Dreamers would benefit from this, y'know.
