ITS AN EMERGENCY!!!
⭐ Who: Marisa Kirisame and YOU
⭐ When: mid June
⭐ Where: the Dream Sphere
⭐ What: Marisa helped discover a new location
-1: It’s An Emergency!-
Dreamer Spark was a talented dream warrior, so it was easy to forget that she was generally pretty inexperienced in the ways of the Dream Sphere, having only awoken a little under three months ago. She was great to have on your side in a fight, but didn’t really have a great sense of what was or wasn’t important in the Dream Sphere.
One might want to keep this information in mind when Spark burst in upon the first group a dreamers she could find in the sleeping city with a breathless look about her and shout “COME QUICK I FOUND SOMETHING IMPORTANT!”
-1: It’s Not Really An Emergency…-
Following Spark was no easy task, since one of her dream powers was flight and she kept on getting over excited and pulling ahead before remembering that other dreamers were land bound and doubling back to make sure anyone following her could catch up while shouting encouragements.
The last leg of the journey was through a dark cave. Despite being nowhere near any body of water, the other end came up on a gorgeous tropical atoll. The geography of the Dream Sphere didn’t have to make sense, after all.
Spark landed on the glittering beach and spread her arms out, encompassing the tropical view a la Lisa Frank.
“Tah-Dah! Whaddaya think?”
It’s certainly pretty, and wouldn’t be a terrible place to hang out for a while, but you’re not sure it warrants the sense of urgency Spark brought to this whole encounter.

There's nothing emergency about this - open
Thankfully she doesn't say anything like that out loud, but her poor slang knowledge already gets her called a boomer by her chat.
At any rate the place is beautiful and hurts her eyes a little, and she kind of wants to just go home and start writing down her impressions of the journey and its result, but if a bunch of people want to pile in she might as well interview them or... something?

"Don't let your guard down. We have no idea what could be lurking in the water... Dreamer Spark, don't even think about swimming!"
no subject
"You don't like it? I think it's pretty. I think we should tell the others about this place. It might be a good place to relax for a bit sometimes."

It's a little too quiet. Without humans around to drop french fries all over the beach, there aren't even any seagulls... just the endless sound of the waves.

Still, there was a time and place for that kind of thing. She hopped back on her broom and started drifting upwards.
"I'll make a circle around the island. See if there's anything worth seeing here."
AN EMERGENCY
"Lead the way!"

"I'm sure you'll yell really loud if anything seems amiss, but watch yourself," she warns.

Marisa took off on her broom and flew away without looking back.
A few seconds later she came back, looking a little sheepish.
“You probably can’t fly, can you?”
no subject
"Yeah, as it happens, I can't. Kitchen hardware doesn't do a thing for me."
no subject
"...Maybe we should check by the water? It's the only part of this place that Spark won't be able to see."
They wipe sweat from their brow and sigh.
"Maybe she'll come back with ice cream. Or cold tofu. Or watermelon."

Fortunately, there was nothing wrong with her legs besides being kinda short. She resumed leading the way from ground level. “This way!”

Spark has to sort of half-jog to keep ahead of him. The way out of the Slumbering City is always through the subway tunnels, so that’s where she’s headed for now.

Zeke sloshes through the water just overlaying the tracks, doing his best to be careful and not fall in a deep spot. Again. "Must be closer to the city, then, if it's not that bad."

Spark held a magic wand up so it could shed light on the dark around them, peering at various landmarks to make sure she was going the right way, and eventually the subway tunnel started to look more like a natural cavern. Zeke could hear the sound of ocean waves in the distance, if he listened carefully. "We're almost there!"

A couple minutes later, she started circling back down.

"Well, nothing is jumping out to attack us... and the water isn't too cold. It might even be safe to swim, if I knew how."
They looked up, squinting against the sunlight. Despite themself, Cinnabar was actually starting to relax. It might be nice to come back here with a beach umbrella, a good book, and some ice cream...
"It looks like Spark is coming back, but I don't think she found any snacks."
