Re: Several nights throughout December | EIEN | OTA 20+
How long has it been since he last got laid? Ango's last girlfriend was a deranged corpse-eating tree monster manifested from his own unresolved psychological trauma, so... uh, it's been a while. He's been hung up on Ai for the past couple of months, but she's obviously got a boyfriend - what else could she possibly be hiding? So he's determined to seek out the opposite of Ai, and... oh yeah, there he is, leaning casually against the bar like he's posing for a fashion magazine photoshoot. Ango did always have a thing for disaster redheads, so...]
...Hey.
[Ango gives a Cool Guy Nod™ of his own and nonchalantly sidles up to the bar, taking a moment to adjust his sunglasses in a way that hopefully comes off as "sexy" and not just "hopelessly nearsighted." The guy looks vaguely familiar... but maybe he just has the kind of face that's hard to forget.]
I feel like I've seen you someplace before... do you come here often?

[Yikes, that's rough buddy.]
[Like communicates to like, and Sylvain picks up on the vibes right away. Someone else looking for an escape, someone who probably won't take this too seriously. Well, he hopes so, considering the absolute D tier beginner ass line he just dropped. It puts the disaster redhead at ease a little, so mission accomplished we guess.]
Been here once or twice. New to the neighborhood.
[Which would have been obvious from his japanese anyway. It's good, but it has that textbook quality to it of someone who didn't grow up in the vernacular, and the accent of someone from western europe.]

A nagging little voice in the back of Ango's brain reminds him that there is a non-zero chance that a Japanese-speaking foreigner recently arrived in Yumemigaoka is involved with the Dreamer Union in some way, and that that might be why the guy looks vaguely familiar... but fuck it, if the DU won't fire Ango for breaking the Dream Sphere, they probably won't fire him for flirting with a colleague.
He grins.]
So... do you dance, or do you just stand around posing at the bar?

[The line probably wouldn't have gotten him very far with anyone else but Sylvain. Lucky for Ango, he zeroed in on exactly the most desperate guy with the lowest standards in the place. In fact, the less effort Ango puts in, the safer an option he seems. This is going to go so well.]
Oh I definitely dance.
[He tosses back the rest of his drink, throws a challenge of a look at Ango, and makes his way to the dance floor.]

At least Ango can dance - well, sort of. He's still trying to learn the fan dance moves for Ai's songs from Youtube videos. But club dancing is more like "rhythmic grinding until you get to go home with somebody or you get kicked out by security, whichever happens first," and he's got a pretty decent track record of scoring the former rather than the latter.
He leaves his lukewarm, watery beer on the bar and follows Sylvain to the center of the club, where a deep bass beat reverberates through the floor. Punk show mosh pits are more Ango's style, but really, all that matters is that the music is loud and the drinks are cheap.]
Oh yeah? Let's see what you've got, then.

[This is definitely going to end so well.]
[Sylvain, on the other hand, got the same bougie ballroom dance training that all children from Old Money seem to get. He is actually quite graceful at the waltz and a foxtrot, and he carried that sense of rhythm over into more modern dancing. If club dancing can really be called dancing, most times. He does at least make an effort to not just jump on the dry humping train, though the way he manages to undulate his hips is suggestive enough. He winks and crooks a finger as he playfully pulls off a body roll.]
Try to keep up.
