[This is Dreamer Siren's first time out. If you don't count their Awakening, that is. They're a little nervous, but they try hiding it by doing a super bouncy pose.]

Dreamer Siren's here to sing you to a peaceful sleep!

[That was a horrible catchphrase, and doesn't even make sense considering their power is hydrokinesis. They look around.]

Geez...I hope nobody saw that...I really need to practice my entrance.

[Talk about the worst time for Dreamer Chaosbringer to show up! In fact, he'd heard and seen everything!]

I'd add a bit of smugness to it, but that's just my style.

[Oh no. He looks like an experienced Dreamer, and he just saw Dreamer Siren's pitiful first attempt at a grand enterance. Their Dreamer career is already off to a horrible start. They want to hide under a dream rock now. Can they? No. They shake their head and attempt to calm down. They can salvage this!]

O-of course! That was just a test run. I can't waste a good entrance when no one was supposed to be watching. Next time will be flawless, obviously.

Who knows when a Figment alone might pop up, and your brilliant appearance might be the difference between a bland and boring dream and one of light and radiance!

Is that how this whole thing works? I thought a good entrance was just a topping. Like the strawberry ontop of a shortcake.

[They'll keep in mind to practice their entrance a bunch before next time. Actually now that they think about it, the strawberry is the best part. They end up grinning.]

[Oh, he has a LOT more to say on the subject of entrances -- but the question of identity is every bit as important! Zeke lifts his head and leans backwards slightly... then yanks his sword free from its rest on his back.]

[Spinning the sword over his head two-handed, he then plunges it into the ground next to him with ample dramatic flair.]

[Lightning crackles up the length of his sword, leaping to his hand as he draws it away. Then he snaps his fingers shut on it, making a flash of light and a little crack of thunder as he lifts his fist.]

[Siren claps at the end of his introduction, looking midly impressed. It really just makes them even more determined to have a cool entrance.]

You've worked on that a lot, haven't you.

[They should be paying attention to the conversation but instead their mostly thinking and mumbling.]

So I should find a way to incorporate my weapon and power into my entrance? A wand is easy enough to work with, but... What is a good way to incorporate water that won't get me all wet though...Maybe...hmmm...I wonder if I could make bubbles or something light and fluffy like that...

[Siren understands the important things. Zeke folds one arm, the other elbow propped on that wrist so he can wave his other hand about.]

What's your opinion on rainbows? You could make a sweep over your head, make a mist, rainbow above you!

[They summon their wand, and wave it over their head to make a mist. It works even though they can't see it from underneath it, and the wide sweeping action could be a nice transition into any number of poses. In fact, they drop into one that seems like it could be a cool power pose.]</small Well? Any rainbows from your point of view?

Perfect one! We'll have to get you a mirror to perfect the sweep. You want an exact half-circle, right? All in all, it looked pretty good!

How'd it feel, though? [That's the important part, after all. You can't do an entrance pose halfway! You have to put your all into it!]

It felt pretty good. Yeah, having a mirror here would work wonders for my posing.

[They practice dancing and stuff in the mirror at home, so this shouldn't be too different.]

I'll have to brainstorm what I'm going to say for next time too. [They chuckle.] I sort of assumed it would be like those old shows where everything just came to you. But this way is better if you ask me. I can constantly improve myself.

It's a mixture of both, you know! Sometimes inspiration strikes! [He slaps a fist into his hand to emphasize the word.] Go into it with your ideas ready, and then let the scene and circumstances guide you. Assertion of yourself, total denial of your enemies! But yes, always improving!

[Definitely some major approval there. Driving yourself forward! Achieving new heights! Exceeding yourself! Those are perfect desires for a Dreamer to have!]

[Mitsuki laughs a little. They like that idea "assertion of yourself, total denial of your enemies." Chaosbringer is a very interesting person.]

I see, I see. I'll keep that in mind too. Do you have any other advice for a newbie Dreamer like myself? You seem pretty knowledgable. And I don't want to make a fool of myself again.

[Zeke swishes one arm up in front of his face, then dramatically taps his temple as if the thought in there has sparked brilliantly.]

Know your limits. Then push them. You always want to be taking a step ahead, but if you don't know that the step you're taking isa step ahead, you're stumbling around blind. And you need to know when something's three or four steps ahead, or more, because you can't get there yet. That's how you grow.

[Zeke is... Zeke, but he didn't become an experienced Dreamer by channeling all that chuuni energy into suicidal enthusiasm. Quite the opposite! To be as wild as he is, you have to be good enough to afford the fun!]

[Oh no. They've been spotted by...Someone? They think the bug monster is a person anyway. And their question just hammers home how bad their first try at a catchphrase was.]

It was supposed to...just be a thing. [They wave their hand flippantly.] Like, a "hello, Dreamsphere, Mi-I mean-Dreamer Siren's here!" But like...with metaphors or some such. It was supposed to be a play on how mythological siren's are good at singing, and to dream you have to be asleep...Yeah...It was just a practice run. My next entrance will be better.

Mmph.

Ah. Yeah, that tracks for me too, see?

[They summon their wand, and wave it around to manipulate some of the water in the air to join together into a basketball sized water balloon. They bounce it on their wand a few times, not really sure what to do with it now that they've made it.]

My magic is hydrokinesis. I can control water.

This is more useful than singing.

I guess for battle it is the more useful skill.
