Wow! These all look and smell fantastic!
[ She wanders closer, taking in the ingredients scattered about with awe (though not yet noticing the suspicious inclusion of laxatives), before turning hopeful attention back to Ango. ]
Would... would it be a big bother to show me something about making these? I don't really know my way around a kitchen, and I got curious about the process when I heard sometimes people actually make the chocolate themselves...

[There are more than enough leftover ingredients for the new kid to take a crack at making chocolate before one of the DU office staff shuts down Ango's little operation. As usual, he went overboard and bought too much.]
I'm Ango, by the way, and I know a thing or two about making huge messes.

Wonderful!
So you use a thermometer? [ Her eyes are wide with interest. ] Sounds a little like chemistry... I never did get to take one of the lab-courses, though, so all I know is the theory.
[ She startles when Ango introduces himself, realizing that she hasn't introduced herself yet - how rude of her! ]
Ah, and I'm Jade!
Jade Harley, also known as Dreamer Space Witch~! [ She finishes her introduction with a gratuitous flourish of one hand, having taken to heart the advice on this matter she got from good ol' Zeke. ]

Oh yeah, I heard that we got some newbies. Welcome to the Dreamer Union - this place is full of socially maladjusted weirdos, but most of them are alright once you get to know them.
[Ango's got a feeling that this kid falls more to the "Zeke" side of the weirdness spectrum, though - the kind of weirdo who's surprisingly functional.]
I was never much good at math, so I always thought cooking was more art than science... but I guess there's a lot of chemistry involved, too. Chocolate is actually full of tons of tiny crystals, you know? So you've gotta heat it up to the right temperature and let it cool down slowly to get the right texture.
nearly a whole month late, apologies,,
Hee hee, that's not very nice~
[ It's just some quick teasing though, and she returns her attention to the chocolate-making production spread about the room. ]
I suppose it's both really... measuring out ingredients and tracking the temperature is more scientific, but getting everything to look so nice definitely requires artistry.
And nobody mentioned the crystals in chocolate before! Maybe you're better at the science side than you think~
