...is what she's thinking when her instincts tell her someone's way inside her bubble, and her immediate response is to jump away. Except she's awake, so that response is muted somewhat, and it's more like a small hop away, almost like she thinks she's in their way. Once she's made space she turns to look at the newcomer, blinking for a moment. Those are... quite some sunglasses. Hell of a fashion statement! Not that she can talk. Her tote bag isn't slung over her shoulder today, so instead she's settled for a small handbag, her Sandglass hanging from one strap like a charm. She didn't want to look too unprofessional, so she's dressed up in a blouse and a sensible skirt today, which is in turn making her stand out against some of her peers. And definitely against this kid?]
Oh, sorry! Um, was I in the way?
[Tomoe's table isn't that popular, Lisa, take it easy. She seems a little tired, but not overly so. And her expression is... a little guarded, but not suspicious. Just wondering if she did something wrong.]

There's a moment where they just sort of... Stare each other down before Nikki smiles, cheerful and bright eyed]
Nope! I was just looking around at what's on offer 'round here. It's been a few years since I've been here, so it never hurts to check these sorts of events out.

It's not you, it's me. I've been... really out of sorts lately. You surprised me! I didn't notice you come up there. But anyway... welcome back, then! I've lived here all my life, but I never really get tired of it, y'know? [A small, still a bit uncertain grin.] Part of that's the people, too. You get all kinds here.
[Her eyes roll over his bright colors before catching on what has to be a Sandglass.]
Don't forget to stop by the Dreamer Union table, too. I think they always need more hands.

[speaking of whiplash, he's bouncing through topics like it's some sort of pinball game. Sonic, slow down...!!]
Oh~? I bet you see tons of people coming and going through this city just for the Dreamers alone, huh? [a grin] Dunno 'bout signing up for anything but it never hurts to look.
Surprised that there aren't more Dreamers around though! [he makes a show of raising a hand over his eyes as he peers around them, as if searching] You'd think for a job fair like this, there would be more of us walking around.

[She follows his gaze; there are a few around here - she thinks she sees a familiar head of dirty blonde hair across the way, Keiwa's around here somewhere, Maki has to be here representing the DU's interests - but it is notable.]
If you want to be a lifer, Dreaming can be a job in and of itself - I'm sure some folks don't bother with jobs because fighting already pays the bills, if you do enough of it. So I think some folks won't show up because they aren't worried about it. And then the younger people... well, there's so much going on already, who has time for a job on top of it?

Exactly! Like you're supposed to strike a cool pose as you shout 'Henshin!' or something, right? [can't believe this little shit-- Somewhere in the library, Keiwa sneezes twice]
[but he whistles when Lisa mentions that fighting pays the bills] Man, and here I am, doing it for free and out of the goodness of my heart. [he feigns injury, hand over his forehead and the other over his heart. Then laughs it off] But yeah, I totes get it. Everyday it's like a different tiny problem you weren't paying attention is suddenly like 'pay attention to me~'. [he's still speaking in Japanese, but he puts on a childish voice for that line] Sometimes you just want some 'me' time to unwind.
[a bold statement for someone who is not only homeschooled but who's responsibilities are whatever he feels like taking on that day]
