⭐ Where: In the Dream Sphere
⭐ What: Of course powers go wild just when Illya decides to practice..

[ Illya knows she has to get stronger. Considering the sheer amount of those wild Disturbances they've had lately, the girl knows she has to try and practice more, especially when she knows she still isn't very strong at all compared to other Dreamers.

Hence why you might come across the young girl if you're out in the Dream Sphere. Dreamer Prisma seems to at least have moved on from the zones that are for utter beginners, but she's still sticking to anything that doesn't rise above a medium level of risk for now.

.. though Prisma might not be the first thing you'd notice if you encounter her. No, rather than the young Dreamer, there's a ball of energy - which you might recognize as her standard attack, if you've seen it - heading your way. Not flying through the air as it always does, though. No, it's.. bouncing across the ground like a kangaroo, weirdly enough..?

It hasn't reached you yet, so there's time to dodge or otherwise avoid it, but there is a shriek of: ]

W-Watch out, they bounce!

[ That's definitely Illya's voice. And she sounds so alarmed, even though it's not like this bouncing ball is super threatening or anything.. It's like the world's most anticlimactic horror movie. ]

Dreamer Sonic..

[ Even his name sounds cool. There's no way she's going to forget that name. In fact, she's kind of glad to hear that it's just because he's new that she's never noticed him before, since she can't imagine how she otherwise would always have overlooked someone like this. ]

I-- I'm Dreamer Prisma! And.. um.. I-I'm often training at either Twinkle Keep or Stardust Sanctuary! J.. Just so you know! [ YEAH. Just so you know, Sonic! For no particular reason!

N-Not like she's hoping you'll ever seek her out.. even once.. or anything...... ]

[ Prisma is staring at this with baited breath, really. She does think Crow seems kind of cool and confident despite not being one of the older cooler Dreamers, so a part of her is hoping that this might actually work..

.. even though it doesn't. It has a rather odd effect, in fact. Rather than her attack splitting in two or disappearing, it's like the force that Crow is applying just makes the ball bounce that energy right back at him, making Crow bounce.. until he lands right on top of the ball of energy.

It's weirdly solid. He can stand on there. It's like a big circus trick, really, especially since he could make the ball roll in any direction he wants if he'd just walk on it-- but Prisma doesn't seem to be taking that into consideration, instead just sounding shocked and worried as she says: ]

Oh! C-Crow, don't fall..!

A game..

[ It sounds like she's considering the suggestion, at the very least! It helps that she's got a big enough impression of Omen as this wise adult that she doesn't think he could be wrong about that one.. There has to be at least some merit to the suggestion if he's the one making it.

So she slowly nods. ]

I-- I guess I could do that. Do you think other people would like a game like that..?

[ You'd imagine Prisma would have more recent hands-on experience with that, being younger and all, but.. well, she's also kind of friendless on top of it, so she isn't really used to playing games with other kids. ]

Dreamer Prisma, huh? Nice name! It suits you.

... Twinkle Keep or Stardust Sanctuary, huh? [those names sound oddly familiar and he can't quite pinpoint why... Almost as if they're from his neck of the woods (he has no neck of the woods). He snaps his fingers after thinking about it for a moment]

Good to know! I'm still learning my way around this part of the Dream Sphere, so having a name or two to work with definitely helps. Thanks, Prisma. I'll swing by to say 'hello' if I find my way to the Keep or Sanctuary.

I.. I'm not sure..!

[ All of this is new to Illya too, after all. It doesn't necessarily look worse, thankfully, but it didn't really solve the situation either.. It just makes the ball of energy a whole lot brighter as it bounces all over the place.

Maybe they just have to worry about it potentially blinding anyone while it's this bright..

But as Illya turns her attention momentarily away from the ball and over towards the other girl, she lets out a gasp as she realises something. ]

Ah..! W-Wait, Colette! Be careful, you still have those wings..!

[ Which the other doesn't seem to fully realise, and the last thing Illya wants is for the girl to fly a little bit too fast by accident and just slam right into the ball of energy. That would surely hurt! ]

Or.. maybe we can just leave it..?

[ It's such a careful suggestion. After all, it's kind of the Dream Sphere equivalent of littering, right? And she was raised as a proper girl who doesn't do stuff like that! Even suggesting it feels bad!

But she doesn't know how to make it disappear, so maybe this is the only solution. ]

I mean, it doesn't really hurt anyone if it's just.. hanging around..

[ Just a giant ball of mystery. Especially to people who may come across it with absolutely zero context for any of this. ]

That's not fine..!

[ It's so rare for Prisma to grow a spine, but here it is. It's not even that she's doubting the other's abilities. She's so much older and more experienced - surely she knows what she's doing, especially in comparison to Prisma who truly feels like everything is getting way out of her own control right now.

But that still doesn't mean she can just stand here and watch the other get hurt. The very idea feels awful. ]

I don't want you to get hurt at all! A-- And even less so because of me! [ Because she could never forgive herself for that. ]

Mmm... [he doesn't think it could count as littering but there's another problem at play here]

I don't know if these things will stay here if I leave. They've been following me ever since I got into the Dream Sphere...

[he doesn't mind bringing the ball of light with him, sure, but... He holds his hand out and the Hakujoudai pulls a little closer to them, the orb squeezed carefully between the two of them. Tycoon looks like he's focusing pretty intently on the action, simple as it is... Worried about losing his grip, maybe. He leaves it far enough away that they could dodge it if it got free, but close enough that people would probably realize that this odd magic was theirs.

... Sort of theirs]

Unless you want to try waking up and seeing if it disappears that way? I can stay here to make sure nothing happens to this...

Sure, could be fun! When I was a kid, we'd usually train together by...I guess play-fighting, a little. It's sort of like that. Do people still do that?

[The last is blurted out, as Bruno realizes he said "we" and doesn't really want to talk about that.]

Hm? Oh. Right.

[She has been getting more used to the wings. It's just a work in progress with obviously only using them with being in the Dream Sphere. Colette lands, lowering that her feet touch the ground before she dismisses them, not wanting to get too far ahead of the other. Not wanting to lose track of the energy ball they were chasing after either, she keeps glancing from it to the other to keep the other in sight, only continuing once Illya is closer, gesturing for the other to keep going.]

Let's keep going. You see anyone ahead?

[ .. He-- He said her name was nice! And that he'll come to say hello to her!

Is this what it feels to be noticed... It kind of feels like it.. Prisma isn't even able to say anything for a moment. She just stares at him, looking surprised, like she can't believe she is actually experiencing this right now. Is this just a dream? In the regular sort of way, not the Dream Sphere kind of way? It would explain why her powers were acting so strangely in the first place..

So by the time he winks at her, she's slowly reaching up to just.. pinch her own cheek..

Which, of course, isn't actually making her go back to the waking world. Not that easily. Mostly because she isn't genuinely trying to wake up, since then all of this would be over!! ]

I think I'm dreaming.. [ She mumbles. ]

[ Why is Kozakura of all people defending the idea that it's okay for her to get roughed up anyways? What a good kid. ]

If it bounces at me again I'll move, then.

[he's just sort of watching her, head tilted to one side and wondering what she's doing. Her dokis are being ignored/unacknowledged... He doesn't seem to realize the effect he's had on her.

His smile does go away but he looks a little worried when she slowly reaches up to pinch herself]

Uh... You okay?

[his ears twitch when he hears her mumbling to herself.... She seems a little dazed? Sonic thinks about it for a second before reaching over--

And gently tapping the top of her head in a chopping motion. Were she older or a young boy, he'd probably put the tiniest bit more oomph in it, but she seemed like she's pretty new to this Dreaming business. That last thing he'd want to do is scare her. But he can't resist-]

Hey, I'm not so scary that you're trying to wake up to get away from me, are you?

[ She frowns just a little bit, like she isn't sure she likes that idea. ]

Tycoon-san, wouldn't it be really irresponsible of me to just leave you here to that by yourself..? [ Granted, he is the older one. By quite a bit. It'd make so much more sense for him to watch the situation here, especially if waking up might not be enough to solve the weird mishaps her magic is having right now.

But something about it still sits uneasily within the girl. Maybe it's since Prisma has seen Tycoon like this before - so kind that it's almost like he lets people walk all over him. She doesn't want to be one of those people. ]

I'm sure you have things you need to do too, instead of just helping me with my stuff.

[ The girl frowns. ]

I'm-- I'm not sure. I haven't..

[ .. She's clearly struggling with something.

Which might be a good thing for him, considering she seems so distracted by it that she isn't bothering to question his little we there. For now, anyway. ]

I haven't had friends to do that with.. [ She definitely looks ashamed to admit it, but she also doesn't want to just outright lie to an adult, which would be the only other way out of this. ] So I wouldn't know.

Oh, hm... There isn't really a way to communicate between the Dream Sphere and the Waking World, huh? If it worked, I could just wake up, but I guess if it doesn't there's no way for me to let you know...

[he crosses his arms and thinks about it. But it's easy to see from how he was talking about it that Tycoon probably just assumed that Prisma would come back. Or that her powers would disappear after she left, though he forgot that they had no way to contact each other to give updates on what happened. There's a pause when he hears Prisma being worried about taking up Tycoon's time. With a last check to make sure that everything is stable, he turns to kneel down in front of the smaller Dreamer]

It would be the same I left you to figure it out yourself, right? So... Instead of worrying about that, how about we both try to figure out what we can to do fix this instead?

Ay, yeah. I don't really hang out with anyone anymore either...

[Shrug. It is what it is. But it shouldn't be that way for her, she's just a kid!]

Well, you wanna come up with a game, then?

[ Illya definitely does keep running, at least! Especially now she can actually keep up with the other.. It'd sure be convenient if she could fly too, but Illya knows that she's only got her own legs to count on, even though they are carrying her as fast as they can..! ]

N-No, thankfully!

[ Not yet, anyway. But every single meter that doesn't have someone in the path of the ball is a good meter as far as Illya is concerned.. ]

I.. um..

[ Maybe this isn't the right moment, considering they're running and all, but Illya just can't help but remark: ]

I didn't know about your wings..! [ Look, it just surprised her so much that she has to bring it up. ]

...

[ Well, it's difficult to say anything to that. Sure, the idea still worries Prisma a little, but not enough that she dares to go against the plan of a far more experienced Dreamer. So even though a part of the girl looks like she wants to protest, she instead just nods. ]

O-Okay.

[ As long as she's careful. But surely Kozakura will be, right..? ]

In that case, um-- [ The young girl looks around. And indeed, the ball does seem like it bounced off a wall and is heading for them once more.. ] See..! It keeps doing this, I've-- I've been here for a little while already, and it just keeps bouncing back and forth without disappearing..!

[ There's a soft little 'ow!' sound. It can't truly have hurt, really, because the sound was way too quiet to be actually pained.. It's more likely that she was just surprised to suddenly get tapped like that, which would make it more a surprised instinctive sound than anything actually pained. ]

N-No! [ She quickly answers.

That's just about the last thing she'd want him to think! ]

It's because--

[ No. Nope. She can't say it. It's too embarrassing, so.. ]

.. I have to go!

[ She's just.. turning around..

.. and running away..

Clearly making a perfect first impression here. ]

This seems like it's happening to other people too. Not the bouncing, specifically.

[ She watches it, tracking if it's headed for either of them. ]

But... malfunctions.

Ah, that's okay. I don't always use them. So. Of course not everyone might know.

[Colette isn't sure if she should apologize for not mentioning it before or something. But for now she is trying to focus more on the situation at hand than dealing with her wings. She herself is at least more used to that after doing this for a bit at this point. Colette shifts and tries to keep going in following but also not letting the other get too far behind. Keeping an eye on things ahead in case anyone is around, if she sees movement besides the energy ball itself.]

[ .. oh.

The answer isn't entirely surprising. Not coming from him. He's been really nice to her before, so it'd make sense that he's doing the same thing now. But there's something about the kind treatment coupled with how worried Prisma has been about this entire situation and having to somehow deal with it that feels a little overwhelming in this moment.

Not necessarily a bad kind of overwhelming though. More just that she's having a lot of big emotions right now, which means that when he kneels down and tells her that, Prisma just stares at Tycoon.. with her eyes visibly slowly growing more watery. She's still so young, after all. Sometimes a situation is just a little bit too much, and just a tad of kindness goes a long way. ]

It-- [ She sniffs, a hand moving up to rub at her eyes. ] It's really okay..?

[ There's a soft, kind of surprised sound at that first part. It leaves Prisma to stare at the older Dreamer, even after he's already moved on to ask that question. He doesn't hang out with anyone anymore? .. Is it because he's an adult..?

Fortunately for him, there's no time for her to ask that question when Prisma realises there's another question waiting for her instead. ]

Oh! Um.. [ ... ] Are you saying you'd like to play a game together, sir..?

[ He seems like he might think he's a little bit too old for it, since he does seem like a Proper Old Adult and all.. But there's something a little hopeful in the girl's tone too, like she'd really like it if he'd agree to it, but also like, at the same time, she doesn't dare to show that too much. ]

[were she a little older, he might be flustered at having a crying teenager on his hands. But she's still young enough that Keiwa's... Still a little surprised to see her crying! Though it's more because he's not entirely sure what he's done to make her cry or if it's wholly because of the situation at hand. Tycoon smiles reassuringly as he gives her a nod]

We all have to start somewhere, right? It's okay to not know everything... And there's nothing wrong with learning at our own pace.

[his voice is as gentle as it usually is when not flustered or panicked. He sort of wishes he could give her a handkerchief, but he doesn't have one on him...]
