⭐ Who: Illya and you!
⭐ When: The first half of April
⭐ Where: In the Dream Sphere
⭐ What: Of course powers go wild just when Illya decides to practice..
[ Illya knows she has to get stronger. Considering the sheer amount of those wild Disturbances they've had lately, the girl knows she has to try and practice more, especially when she knows she still isn't very strong at all compared to other Dreamers.
Hence why you might come across the young girl if you're out in the Dream Sphere. Dreamer Prisma seems to at least have moved on from the zones that are for utter beginners, but she's still sticking to anything that doesn't rise above a medium level of risk for now.
.. though Prisma might not be the first thing you'd notice if you encounter her. No, rather than the young Dreamer, there's a ball of energy - which you might recognize as her standard attack, if you've seen it - heading your way. Not flying through the air as it always does, though. No, it's.. bouncing across the ground like a kangaroo, weirdly enough..?
It hasn't reached you yet, so there's time to dodge or otherwise avoid it, but there is a shriek of: ]
W-Watch out, they bounce!
[ That's definitely Illya's voice. And she sounds so alarmed, even though it's not like this bouncing ball is super threatening or anything.. It's like the world's most anticlimactic horror movie. ]

Oh.
Sonic just politely side steps the bouncing ball of energy, head following it as it bounces past him. When Prisma comes running by, the only indication that he's talking to her is how he tilts his head towards her before pointing at the orb]
So did you need someone to catch that?
no subject
[ Apparently this is the single thing that could distract her from running after those projectiles in the first place, since the girl suddenly stops right in her tracks.. Mostly so she can give him a half-shocked, half-confused expression. ]
You can't catch those! That's the problem, they're-- they're dangerous! [ Maybe not as dangerous as other attacks, given the fact that she isn't exactly the most powerful Dreamer around or anything..
But she still can't help but worry about someone getting hurt if they try touching one of them. It'd be her responsibility if they did!! ]
no subject
Sonic crosses his arms in front of him as he thinks about it. There's barely a pause before he points at the orb steadily bouncing away from them]
I don't know, that just makes it sound like we ought to catch it. So that it doesn't run into anyone else, y'know?
no subject
She sure got caught up in the shock enough to forget for a moment that the ball was still rolling..
A fact she's realising really quickly now, letting out a very loud yelp as she already starts running after it. Maybe you should come with her, Sonic.. Just to make sure she doesn't accidentally hurt herself with how freaked out she seems right now.. ]
C-Come back! If it's my power, why won't it come back even if I call it..?!
[ .. yeah, she definitely sounds like she's about to cry.
Clearly making a great first impression here. ]

[Colette blinks, turning when she hears the other call out. She turns and her blue eyes widen at the ball of energy. It doesn't look too powerful at least? But she should probably....move....yeah. Just in case. The other did sound rather in a panic, quite worried after all. She just hopes she will be quick enough. She stumbles to the side to try get out of the way, to avoid it.
Of course because this is Colette, even in Dreamer form, she trips in the process but at least that is much more minor in comparison to getting hit by the attack?]
no subject
And while Illya knows she has to chase the ball to make sure it doesn't hit anyone, she's a little worried after having seen the blonde Dreamer trip like that. She lets out a surprised gasp the moment Colette trips, and a moment later Illya is already making her way over to the other girl's side in her Dreamer form. ]
O-- Oh gosh, are you alright?! Did that hurt? [ She sounds so fussy. On the edge of panic, really. Likely since Illya was already so worked up by her powers starting to bounce all over the place.. ]
no subject
[Dreamer Angel just needs a moment. As she takes a quick inventory that she doesn't notice any immediate bleeding or marks, bruising from the fall. This was hardly the first or likely the last time she would trip over. But she doesn't seem injured, barring perhaps some redness at her knees, her palms of her hands where she landed. She ignores that, straightening and standing as the other rushes over to her.]

What...what happened, why am I....
[She looks up at the voice, seeing the ball nearly upon her. A surprised squeal escapes her, as she attempts to get out of the way. But its as if she's stuck in place, or trying to run through a wall of gelatin. Her movements are remarkably slow, and it looks like the ball is going to bounce right into her. At the last second she vanishes ago, a pink blur that zips a good twenty feet away before stopping.]
G...gah, why is this happening?!
[Illya isn't the only one to have trouble, it seems!]
no subject
W-What if her power did that to the girl somehow? Can it also make people disappear now?! Please tell her that isn't the case--
Though it doesn't lessen her panic, especially with the ball still bouncing off to some spot in the distance, she does at least spot Karen's reappeared form a moment later. ]
W-Wait, how--
[ She stops running for a moment. Though she should probably chase the ball and wherever it's heading off to, she's too startled by what's going on here.. she first has to know if the other is alright.. ]
How did you get there?!
no subject
I..I am not really sure!
[She turns and walks, painstakingly slow, as if she was expecting the ground to slip out from under her with each step, towards Illya.]
I was just out for a run. I do it all the time! But this time I.....
[And then, without warning, she was suddenly a few feet behind the other girl. Thankfully it was not an incoming sneak attack. There's a sound of frustration from her voice.]
Its been messing up for the last few minutes. One second I am too slow, the next I am WAY too fast. I am scared I am going to run into someone is this keeps up!
[She turns, glancing towards the bouncing ball steadily making its way off into the distance.]
I...guess you're having trouble too, huh?

[their powers going haywire wasn't news to Tycoon, not when part of Hanako's magic was as overt as the Hakujoudai. Except that Tycoon's version of it was black, and if he had been a part of the Night Terror fight, perhaps he would be more alarmed. As it was, it's the sound of Prisma's shout that causes him to automatically summon his weapons in preparation to fight.
Which, of course, makes it very confusing when all he sees is a bouncing orb of light heading his way- Bouncing through him, as he subconsciously triggers Hanako's intangibility the same way he would trigger Shukuchi. Hey, if it works...]
Um... [he turns to watch the orb bounce away before suddenly turning around to find Prisma]
Are you okay?
no subject
[ Sorry, Tycoon. Prisma isn't answering the question just yet, even though she probably should.. Especially when her facial expression looks particularly freaked out in this moment. Freaked out enough that it might make someone wonder whether or not the young Dreamer is about to pass out from shock.
Look, she was just very worried that Tycoon would get hurt - or worse, stuck in tanuki form again without an easy way to turn back to normal - and it'd all be her fault..
But even though he's thankfully okay, the girl looks shocked all the same. She was so sure that ball was heading right for him. (Said ball is still just.. bouncing off into the distance, but Prisma doesn't have time to chase it right now..) ]
H-How come that didn't hit you?! Are you okay?! Are you sure you didn't get hurt?! [ If she talks any faster, the girl may just forget to breathe. ]
no subject
[well, he's gotten better at the whole tanuki transformation thing! At the very least, if he has some quiet time, he can change back on his own. Alas, that's not the transformation magic currently at work, and the
kokuHakujoudai hover just over his shoulder behind him as he and Prisma once again have to fight their greatest foe...The Anxiety Feedback Loop]
I-I'm fine, it's fine! See? It's... It's a little hard to explain? Just take a breath first, okay...?

[ She's still running after the ball - though it means she's first running at Crow, since he's still standing alongside its trajectory, though it has passed.. ]
It's-- It's going to hurt people like this! [ When Prisma passes, she just latches onto Crow's hand.
Sorry, pal. You're being dragged along. You're part of this now. ]
We have to stop it..!
no subject
[Oh there he goes, dragged along by Prisma. He doesn’t really object to the idea of stopping it from hurting other people; he doesn’t want other people to get hurt, but…isn’t she taking this a little too seriously?]

[ Apparently the girl didn't expect that question.. She turns her head to look at Omen for a moment, which also means she has to stop running since she can't see where she's going anymore if she keeps running while looking at him..
.. except she only looks more surprised when she's looking at those strange green eyes. If it wasn't for the fact that he had seemed like such a kind and reliable adult, it would have scared her.. But she tries to have a little bit more faith than that in Omen right now. ]
I-- I can't. They're just going all over the place, that's why I wanted to stop them before they can hurt anyone..! [ Hence why she's trying - emphasis on trying, she does sound rather panicked right now - to fully explain this to the other. Omen has seemed like a Mature Responsible Adult. ]

[ It's fortunate for Illya that the Dreamer she runs into is, at the very least, someone who can definitely just knock her attacks away with her fists.
Not that it's uh... very intimidating either way. Heck, Illya didn't even need to warn her, Hibiki's danger sense kicked in at the same time, so she's already gotten herself out of the way. ]
Ah! Illya-chan!! I didn't expect to see you here!
[ Last she knew, Illya was still keeping herself to the beginner areas! Congrats on moving up in the dreamworld?
Notice that Hibiki isn't at all worried about the bouncing ball still.]no subject
[ Sorry, Hibiki. You may no longer be concerned by the balls, but Illya sure is. Especially since they don't just disappear when Hibiki hits them. No, they just.. change course, and start bouncing in another direction entirely.. Which isn't necessarily a good thing when they could bounce off to places where other people are who could get hit.
The younger girl must still be thinking about that, since she stares at the ball nervously now its course has been changed.. Like she's contemplating whether or not she should just run after it, but it feels too rude to do that right after Hibiki spoke up to her..
These are the true dilemmas. ]
I-- Um, you didn't? I-- I'm sorry?
[ IS THIS SOMETHING SHE SHOULD APOLOGIZE FOR..
Illya isn't even sure anymore. She's too busy freaking out! Her mind is too all over the place to properly reply to what Hibiki is telling her! ]
no subject
[ They are truly on unfortunately completely different wavelengths, aren't they? It's just bouncing so slowly... surely there isn't a single person out there who wouldn't see it coming, right? ]
What's wrong? Did something happen?
[ Hibiki please... ]

[ Obviously.
Moving out of the way is effort, blocking it is effort, so Dreamer Mind just swats at it with her staff and hopes that it doesn't blow up on her. ]
no subject
Usually it would have, which is why Prisma was freaking out so much about it just bouncing everywhere and potentially hitting people.. But the moment Mind hits it with her staff, it has the same effect as hitting a tennis ball with a racket.
.. which is to say, it just changes the course of the ball, instead sending it bouncing right back into Prisma's direction. The young girl manages to notice it just in time to let out a shriek before diving out of the way, the ball just bouncing on in the empty path left in the wake of Prisma's jump. ]
W-W-What happened?! [ She squeaks as she drags herself back up off the ground, clearly having been too startled to realise what Mind just did. ]
no subject
[ Tennis WAS something she was...
She wasn't good at it, but she could hit a thing in gym class if she could get to it. ]
You should've probably hit it back.
