⭐ What: After taking a bit of a mental health break earlier in the year, Lisa's ready to put her life officially back on track! Part of that's going back to school, but her social life seems to be developing too... If you don't see anything you like, swing by her plotting top-level and we'll hash something out.
⭐ Warnings: Probably nothing, but while Lisa's mood is more positive than usual it's also a little more swingy. Lisa-typical poor self-image, possibly.

I know how that feels. Ask me how much I've baked in the last month. Actually, don't, I think you already know the answer.

[Lisa hears that - sees that, briefly - and laughs lightly, before leaning over to bump Junna's shoulder softly, returning her gaze into the penguin enclosure too as the one they've been watching starts to waddle back toward the water. Junna's reactions are dangerously cute. Maybe cuter than the penguins, and that's stiff competition.]

It's okay, I know what you meant! We'll see if we can find something exciting, so they can hear us anywhere in the park.

[Junna laughs a little, before she nods.] It's too hot for it... though, hopefully, in a couple of months, it'll be better weather for that.

[Then she flushes a little at the bump on her shoulder. She hesitates a second, before she returns the bump. Her eyes go back to the penguin though -- and as it starts to waddle back to the water, Junna lifts her hand and waves goodbye.]

That sounds like a lot of fun. Screaming our hearts out while we go down a slide... [She laughs.] I think we have a plan.

Oh, I'm looking forward to that. I have a lot of pent-up emotions I need to express in flour and sugar and icing.

[The statement sounds like it should come from a place of frustration. Instead, it's clear as a bell, light and easy, with a hint of a breezy laugh. So she has... positive emotions to channel into her baking instead? Probably? She's not entirely sure either, and so she shakes her head softly. The return bump makes her grin, happy she hasn't been completely leading their date off the emotional rails.]

It does sound like fun, yeah? We can go all out, and then maybe take a break in the afternoon and just. Chill. [A beat.] Well. As much as you can chill in the middle of August.

Well... I think I want to help out when you expression your emotions with flour and sugar and icing. [She laughs, and it's a little goofy.] Especially the icing.

[She looks sideways -- and she smiles a little bit more. Go all out with the slides... then find some place to just chill. She considers for a moment, and then nods. And she does her best to resist the urge to pull out her phone and research what places at the park might be good for chilling.]

I like the sound of that! Besides... I relax around you. And I bet after all the socializing and being around people... I'll really appreciate a chance to just chill for a bit.

[Baking together with Junna sounds really fun, and she makes a mental note to pick up some extra butter and eggs to just. Keep around for a cooler day.]

Icing is important. But yeah, we should definitely set aside time. [She grins.] A cookie date, even.

[Don't get ahead of yourself, girl, you have to get through this one still! But she nods happily in agreement.]

Recharge your batteries, yeah? Our batteries. I can only go full extrovert mode for so long.

A cookie date... [Junna laughs. Then, she nods. She likes the sound of it, and--

And it's a thrill, in a good way, to know Lisa's also thinking of dates after this one.] Sign me up!

[Then, she brightens -- and she nods.] Mm. Yes! Likewise. Which is funny, given I want to be an actress, but... I suppose they're two different things?

I'll pencil you in! It's a very exclusive establishment.

[The cheer in her voice doesn't quite disguise the brief warble at the fact that she just invited her girlfriend(?) into her apartment for an intimate date doing something quiet and physical. She doesn't regret it, but the prospect is very very forward and she hopes she hasn't overreached. Still... the reaction sounds good, so she's not going to worry a whole lot, not right now. She's riding too high right now.]

I think so, yeah. You're making someone else do all the talking, so they can deal with the social pressure. We can just take it easy for a bit. No stress, no expectations.

But Junna doesn't mind at all. She smiles at Lisa, and clearly, it wasn't an overreach. There's a nod, though; she looks more thoughtful after that explanation. No stress, no expectations...

No wonder she feels like Lisa gets her. She smiles, then she nods.] That... that sounds very good. I could use that.
