You've got a good point. The break room is a good idea... I know when I'm here later than I planned, I'm glad when there's something free to take there.

[She nods. It's good fuel for the midnight oil.]

Make sure you label it too. [he scratches the back of his head as he thinks back to the state of his home] Then again... If people are half-awake, those cookies are probably going to be the first victims of a kidnapping no matter how it's labeled.

There's really no stopping someone who's feeling peckish.

[he's not speaking from personal experience, thank you very much, he has enough self control to not steal food... Though Olruggio is absolutely guilty of midnight snacking]

Oh, good idea. And, well... no controlling exactly when people want a snack. But it might help.

[She laughs a little and considers.] Maybe I should get a good container for a portion of them. Rather than the individual bags. For the peckish people to snack on.

That would depend on how much is left after you've passed them out, hm? It might be best to just leave them as is.

[pause, then;] The name's Olruggio, from the European branch of the EU and helping out at the main headquarters for a bit. I take it you're one of the Dreamers here?

Ah, fair point. [She nods. No harm in waiting.

Then, Junna blinks -- ah, she forgot to introduce herself. There's a smile, and she extends a hand towards him.] Yes. Junna Hoshimi. Also known as Dreamer Sage. It's a pleasure to meet you, Olruggio-san.

[olruggio]

[he reaches out to give her a solid handshake. Though he's surprised; normally they'd be bowing... Not that he's going to complain, sitting down like he is makes it a little awkward to bow in greeting]

Sage, hm? As in a wise man or the herb? [he smiles] I'm Dreamer Torch, a Saver. If you need a hand for any Excursions, just let me know.

... Though the DU might just start assigning me to groups anyway.

A wise person! Though, I suppose, it's a bit of a pun. I do plant control, too, you see.

[But she likes to think of herself as wise. She smiles, then, and she nods at him.]

I will! And the same, too. I'm a Striker, if a bit new.

[olruggio]

A clever Dreamer name then! I suppose it reflects your hard working personality too, what with it doing double duty and all.

[there's a pause as he thinks about the whole plant control thing]

Hmm.... Plant control, huh? Interesting... We might need to be careful if we work together. The last thing we'd want is to accidentally cancel out each other's spells, or cause any unwanted side effects. [TOPICAL IRL]

You can leave adjustments like that to me though. Learn to get more comfortable with your spells as they are first.

[She smiles -- then Junna blinks, before she tilts her head. Cancel out each other's powers?]

I see... I can leave it to you, but I'd like to try to adjust too. The practice is good. Ah, what are your powers? Just so I know.

[there's a wry smile]

[he spins his pen between his fingers briefly as his expression grows serious]

For now, you should focus on getting comfortable with your own powers. Being able to accommodate others will come naturally as you come to better understand your own strengths and weaknesses.

[the pen Olruggio's been spinning is suddenly pointed at Junna]

I won't discourage you from trying anyway, but don't forget that we're normally sent out in Units for a reason.

Fire and plants tend to not mix, ordinarily. [Though... she can think of a few applications.

She looks at that pen -- then blinks -- and looks back up at Olruggio. She nods after that.]

...Right. Knowing what I can do is the best way to contribute to them.

[olruggio]

[he staring at her quietly, expression neutral... Did he notice the gears turning in her head?

Then, Olruggio huffs a quiet laugh and leans back in his chair]

That's one part. Don't forget that you can always ask other Dreamers for help too.

[She hesitates, for just a moment. Then, there's a respectful nod.]
