No, no, I just work here. But, uh - you really notice when there's stuff going down in the Dream Sphere, you know? Working around so many Dreamers and all. Not in my dreams, just around the office.

[ When he tries the candy, it will be citrus-y and slightly bitter, but not in a nasty way. More a neat offset to the sweetness.

Jeanne, though....can't help but worry. "Stuff going down"....oh, Lord, please have protected her fellow Dreamers...! ]

Um...yeah, they are now. But a lot of people got stuck in the Dream Sphere for a while, a few months back. I didn't think that could even happen, but...well, it was kinda empty here for a while.

[Not that he knows that, since he was stuck in the Dream Sphere too. But that's probably true, right?]

And there was another one of the Disturbances. That's, uh...different, though?

They could not return at all?

[ That's different from what had happened to her! Jeannette, too, has had some difficulty with the Dream Sphere. But in her case, she had been trapped in one area, but could return to the Waking World at will.

How much worse her comrades have had it.....! She goes pale with distress. Poor everybody! ]

No - not until they beat some big Nightmare or something.

[Honestly? Bruno was there for that and he still doesn't know what the fuck it was.]

[ Jeannette's eyes well with tears. It's close enough! It's close enough to what happened to her! Except worse!

And she did not like the version she suffered at all!! The sympathy, it overflows. ]

[He flails a little, like he's thinking of reaching out to her, though ultimately he does not.]

Th-that must have been so frightening.....for those trapped and those outside....

[ BIG SNIFFLE!

She makes the sign of the Cross, then clasps her hands in front of herself, tear-brimming eyes turned to Heaven. ]

Dear Lord, thank You for everyone's safe return......

[ Jeannette crosses herself again. Now that she has given thanks to God, she is much calmer. Prayer brings her such comfort! ]

[ Jeannette looks down, self-conscious for once. ]

I had teammates in mind, but would not expect them to wait...I was gone a good while.

[ It's very sad that to be there for one group of people she cares about, she has to disappoint another. But at least this time she isn't crying. ]

[ Does she talk like this because she's half-French or because....honestly all the other "or because" answers are terrifying, let's not go there. ]

Uh - sorry, no. I don't really keep up with, um, specific stuff like that...

[Since he's definitely not a Dreamer and that would be weird!]

But I'm sure you could find one pretty easy. Everyone here's really nice, so you can't go too wrong, heh...

[ She fidgets with her extra bergamots. So much candy, so many people to whom to give it. ]

Uh...well, you know, that one British guy has been talking a lot about needing more people who aren't Strikers. Olruggio...? Yeah, yeah. He's a Saver too, I think, but I bet he has an idea where they need more. He's probably been...I don't know, pulling a lot of shifts because of it.

[A few parts of that are things that Bruno The Non-Dreamer hasn't technically been told, but...well, it's all stuff he theoretically could have picked up somewhere around here, he thinks.]
