Here, I have some water left. And I'm not going as far as you. [She holds out the bottle, still a little under half-full.] Why does it have to be candy, anyway? I can put on my intelligent hat for a minute, right?

[Ruby clasps her hands together as if in grateful prayer before taking the water bottle, quickly taking a sip.]

Hm! Well, uh...food for the soul, I guess? Soul candy? I had a theme going! You equip things in video games to boost your stats too though, right? I watch streamers sometimes.

Yeah, I used to too, but I guess circlets aren't exactly a thing anymore. Maybe a stylish bracelet that tells you I'm super charismatic. [A beat.] Except charisma's supposed to also be beauty in most of those games, so the bracelet is charismatic... metaphors are hard sometimes. [But she's still grinning.]
