Dreamer Union - Sometime maybe...Late June/Early July (idk exact dates just. imagine)

[It's funny, how one small bit of happenstance can lead to such a big mess.

She'd known it was inevitable. That one day, during something important like a Disturbance, she'd not be able to be there, for a reason nobody could know. She'd been ready for it - not happy, not at all, but ready.

...right. Like she could have been ready for it to be so important.

The first bit of June is spent doing damage control. Thankfully, most seem to accept her excuse of illness (helped by her stating that her mother insisted she not work while sick, which...is definitely something she'd do, regardless of the circumstances).

Later on, though, she decides that enough is enough.

Nadeshiko starts with the scene itself. She comes into the Union one day, looking like a girl on a mission. Because she is. The moment she spots someone she knows was there that day, or who might just know something in general, she stops them.]

Pardon me, but...are you free to talk, at the moment?

...my schedule's free enough, yes.

[ This girl looks Very Focused. She needs to be a proper adult. ]

Around the Dreamsphere - All Month

[There's no better way to describe it: Maihime's incredibly active this month. It'll be possible to spot her all over the Dreamsphere, uncaring for the storms and heat, taking out enemies while seemingly...looking for something. Like always, Temari is at her side...though she does seem a bit worried for her Dreamer.

Some examples include...

Vale of Sorrow: She's carefully perched on higher ground, quietly surveying the flooded space before her. She's not actively hunting Torments here, just...looking. At a quick glance, she might look like she's just looking for a safe spot to climb down...but it never is that simple, is it?

Facet Lagoon: Humidity or no, she's here, be it on the island itself or swimming down to the caves. That said, she...definitely looks a bit rough. A big fancy kimono isn't exactly hot weather attire, and that goes double for the state the Lagoon is in right now.

Boundaries of Zero Crater: Yes, you read that right. She hasn't gone in yet, but she's there...if only because Temari is anxiously tugging at her, trying to convince her not to go in alone (or at all, judging by her expression).

Of course, there's plenty of other options aka wildcard option is available lol, but the fact remains that Maihime is...definitely pushing herself for some reason.]

Promised Morning OR just...on the route to her house - July 4

[has it been obvious i've been handwaving the school stuff. i do wanna do more w/ it but other stuff sings to me so much more ahaaaaaaa Anyway

It's probably obvious enough to those that see her on a regular basis that something's...off about Nadeshiko, lately. She's been trying to keep up her usual cheer and sharp wit, but after the mess things have been, lately, well...it hasn't been easy to jump back to normalcy.

Combine that with how focused she's gotten on getting back into the swing of things & finding Rhythm (not that anyone else knows that part), and, well, she's...kind of forgotten it's her birthday.

Her mother & housekeeper saw this coming, thankfully. They know how she is. So, during late June, they took the time to seek out people they knew Nadeshiko knew, and inform them about her birthday...and the fact that something like this would probably happen.

The girl herself is focused as ever: during free times during the day, she can be found in the school's courtyard, looking over...what looks like a pretty substantial file.

Once the day's over, she just...quietly starts making her way back home. If anyone outside the school wants to get her attention, now's their chance.]
