Camellia - Throughout February
Entering the store any time of the month results in nothing less than a cheerful greeting. It's easy to see why Keiwa's been assigned as greeter]
Welcome! Feel free to take a seat, we'll be right with you!
[While he keeps his usual upbeat cheer around guests, his attitude is a little more muted if anyone he knows from outside of work chats with him towards the second half of the month. Could it be Valentine's blues?
Finding him is pretty easy, being front of house an all, but every so often you might catch him in one of the corner booths taking a break from work]

She gives Nanami, Shinsha and the others a cheery greeting but it's not until she heads all the way to the back that she spots - ]
Oh! Keiwa-kun, there you are!
[ She laughs and gives him a little smile. ]
Sorry! I didn't realize this one was taken.

Hello, Ai-san.
... Oh- No, no, it's fine! I can move if you want to sit. [he laughs, sheepish] There's always room in the back, but it's just easier for me to move back onto the floor if Yugi-san needs me for anything.
no subject
[ There should be enough room, since Keiwa doesn't have a meal or anything - so she carefully settles herself into the booth and sets her laptop down in turn. There's enough space that they're not crowded in, at least, but it's a good thing they're at the back of the store regardless. The last thing she needs this month of all months is anyone getting the wrong idea. ]
There we go, that should work... ah, how is work today, anyway? Not too busy?
no subject
[even with all the avilable space, Keiwa still moves his juice before shifting his seat over as well, clearly giving the lion's share of the table to Ai without any sort of prompting]
Well... It was busier a little earlier... Ai-san's lucky to have just missed it, I think. Even if it was mostly just coffee and small orders, or people coming in to buy flowers for loved ones.
[he seems pretty cheerful about it. In spite of the romantic atmosphere, it seems Keiwa really is just happy to see other people are enjoying themselves]

Valentine’s chocolates - Feb 13-14, around the DU or Moon Bunny Market
But he made chocolates for friends and he intends to pass them out!
He'll be approaching people he knows around the DU or at Moon Bunny Market and passing them a small package of homemade chocolates with a cheerful "Here you go!"
D-Does he realize the implications of giving chocolates on this romantic holiday? Look at that cheerful smile on his face, he absolutely does not. This tanuki truly living up to his animal representative and living life at his own pace...]

No, he's very concerned about it]
Um... [Said child looks familiar though. Since they're at the DU wouldn't that mean that they were also a Dreamer? Well, no harm in asking, right?] Are you all right?
[he meant to ask 'do I know you' but that just sounded unnecessarily mean, so...]
no subject
At his question, he gives a nod and a smile.]
It's just that it looks like you've got a lot of chocolates, so I thought you could use some help giving them out!
no subject
[and Keiwa can't help but laugh at that. Does he suspect it's a lie? Absolutely not! But this is something he's just passing out on his own, it seems a little rude to ask someone to help him with an otherwise straightforward task]
It's all right, you don't have to worry about helping me. But here.
[He puts down his backpack to fish out a small package- Actually, it looks like all the packages he's put his chocolates in are quite small, little gift boxes that fit four, maybe six, pieces of chocolate at most. And Keiwa fishes one of those small boxes out to hand over to Cooro with a smile.
Give him a minute, he's trying to figure out why Cooro looks so familiar (the gears are turning...)]

Hey, thanks, loser!
[He says with a grin, ripping open the things already.]
Just so you know, I don't feel the same - no offense, you're just not my type - but I'm not gonna let your feelings go to waste.
[What is he, a monster?]
no subject
[well, Misfire might be a monster but Keiwa is, in fact, an idiot, so miscommunications were bound to happened. He gets suitably embarrassed even though no romantic feelings were involved. Actually, he's probably more embarrassed because there were no romantic feelings involved!]
I-It's nothing like that! I'm just... Handing out chocolates to people I know.
[Look at these sad tanuki vibes. Misfire, you monster]
no subject
[Well. He knows full well he's not. But still!]
So, what - [He takes this moment to pop a chocolate in his mouth. To nurse the wounds to his ego.] - you're just running around giving them out to everybody?
no subject
[there's no saving this and Keiwa is forced to give up. Why is he even trying to justify this? Or maybe he wants to let Misfire save face (but why he bothers with such a thing still remains a mystery)]
... Sort of? Just... People that I know. [he's not Ai levels of social butterfly, after all. He watches the other man chomp down on a chocolate and kinda... Stares, wide eyed at him for a couple of seconds before cautiously asking;]
How is it?

[Bruno's startled enough by being approached, much less with chocolates, that he just takes them automatically! They're in the hallways of the DU, although Bruno isn't technically on the clock right now. He's just.........well you know don't worry about it actually!!!]
Thanks? Why, uh...why?
[like, he's not concerned that it's a Valentine's Day thing really, because he's like more than old enough to be your dad, but you still kinda gotta wonder!]
no subject
joke's on you, his season's writer has a thing for putting DILFs with twinks-I mean wait, what?][but no, Keiwa just smiles cheerfully at Bruno as he shoulders his backpack full of homemade chocolates again]
Well... Why not? [a laugh and though he seems a little shy about it, Keiwa doesn't let it hamper his upbeat mood] I used to help my aunt prepare chocolates for customers at her cafe. To show appreciation to the customers- Uh... as a thank you.
[he adjusts his Japanese vocabulary, to try and accommodate a learner]
no subject
[As a thank you for what? Maybe...maybe he's just giving them out to all the staff here. That would make sense! Though it'd also be an awful lot of work...]
I didn't...make anyone anything...
[And now he feels kinda bad he has nothing to give back! But - well, why would he? He doesn't know anyone here that well, he had no reason to expect he'd need gifts.]

He's just about finished with a modest bouquet of spray roses when Keiwa approaches the table, and he glances up at him... only to be handed a box of chocolates instead. He blinks at the package, uncomprehending, trying to wrap his head around what he was seeing here. The only Valentine's sweets he's ever really gotten were ones from his family or the obligatory giri choco from his classmates in elementary school, so to be handed one like this, out of the blue...]
Keiwa-san...
[Carefully, he presses the box back towards Keiwa's hands, the look on his face one of somebody who's trying to figure out how to gently let someone down.]
Sorry, but you're a little too old for me...
[A-AMANE???]
no subject
Well... I guess I'll just have to give these to Tsukasa-kun too...
[is what Keiwa says, but he puts the box of chocolates down on the table for Amane anyway]
I've been getting that response a lot. [he laughs, cheerful in spite of the 'rejections' he must have received] I know it's not that common for a guy to just give chocolates like this, but... It's nice to receive something, right?
no subject
No... you've got enough work to do as it is. Tsukasa's already going to be halfway up the wall with whatever you just gave him.
[And this was without the knowledge that Keiwa made coffee chocolates on top of the strawberry ones....... hopefully, for everyone's sake, he had the foresight to leave those out of Tsukasa's box too, lest he wanted to peel the boy off the ceiling again...!!
Quietly, he pops the lid off of the box, plucking one of the strawberry stars out to admire. Keiwa wasn't wrong in that sentiment, especially when someone didn't exactly have a lot of friends to get chocolate from, but...]
If you really wanted to give people stuff, though, why not wait until White Day? I mean... it is nice to get something for Valentine's, but people might get the wrong idea, y'know?
[A beat, as the rest of what Keiwa says finally catches up to him, and then:]
... actually, it sort of sounds like they already have. Just how many people have you given chocolates to already...?

.. or rather, by the package he's holding out to her.
Illya stops walking the moment she sees it. Her eyes linger on the package for a moment, but then her gaze slowly travels up to the other's face instead, the young girl's eyes growing so wide in the process. It's like she's seeing a ghost.. ]
For.. me..?
no subject
Of course!
[he lets out a little laugh. Maybe he hadn't been expecting her wide eyed expression]
So... Here. [the chocolates are still held out for Illya to take]
no subject
[ Yeah.
There's another moment of just staring. Sorry, Keiwa, sure hope your arm isn't going numb from just holding those out!
Though Illya does finally take them. It just took her a few moments, and even once she's taken the cute package from him, she's just staring at it as she's holding it in her hands. It's like she is indeed totally mesmerized by the chocolate, or just by everything that's going on here in general.
Once she finally snaps out of it enough to not look at the pink packaging, the young girl raises her gaze to meet Keiwa's once more. ]
U-Um, so.. What kind of chocolate is this, Keiwa-san..?
[ That's a question that could be so easily misunderstood, Illya!! Girl!!
But she's still a little too surprised to properly think about her wording here. ]

Blood Drive - Feb 20, Koubai General Hospital
I've been helping out at the store more, so I haven't been coming in for volunteer work. Maybe next time...
[When not chatting with staff or other volunteers, he settles down to people watch. For now, he's being responsible and not overexerting himself... But that doesn't mean he can't start wandering around to chat with any familiar (expected or unexpected) faces he sees at the blood drive]
Mandatory (and belated) Dream Sphere Option - early February
In the unlikely event you have something to say to Tycoon, consider this comment your chance to run into him! Tycoon, on the other hand, is largely spared from the madness of the romantic season because he's a tanuki that moves at his own tempo.
But mostly, he's an idiot]
